Family Friendly Museums Training Resources: 28th November 2019

Our second ‘Family Friendly Museums’ training session was held on Thursday 28th November 2019 at Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery.

This one-day training event offered ideas, hints and practical low cost tips on developing your offer for family audiences.  Covering everything from how to market to families to creating child-friendly labels, from hosting a Takeover Day to making your café more family-friendly, this day was aimed at those who were keen to see their offer for families and young people thrive.

The day was organised by Kids in Museums in conjunction with South East Museum Development. Using the updated Kids in Museums manifesto as a framework, the day also will included a chance to share thoughts and address challenges, case study examples and some practical ideas and resources to take away.

Resources from the session are available for download from the list below:

Thank you to all of the Museums that attended this event, and Tunbridge Museum & Art Gallery for hosting the group.
