Roadmap out of Lockdown
The government set out a 4 step ‘roadmap’ out of the Lockdown on 22 February.

When can museums open?
Step 2 (no earlier than 12 April)
- outdoor attractions will reopen at museums and galleries
- permitted businesses operating in otherwise closed attractions (such as a gift shop or a takeaway kiosk at a museum) may only open where they are a self-contained unit and can be accessed without entering the museum
Step 3 (no earlier than 17 May)
- indoor museums and galleries can reopen
Step 4 (no earlier than 21 June)
- the government hopes to be in a position to remove all legal limits on social contact
