Supporting Health and Wellbeing of Staff in MuseumsEvent Date:18 January 2021 10:00 am — 18 January 2021 11:30am
The coronavirus pandemic and resulting restrictions have had an impact on everyone’s wellbeing, including those working in museums and heritage organisations.
This webinar, in partnership with the team at The Beaney, will focus on developing skills to support the health and wellbeing of staff working in heritage and museums. We’ll be starting with an introduction to mental health, including signs, symptoms and its impact on physical wellbeing. This will be followed by real life examples of how to support health and wellbeing in practice. All delegates will be signposted to resources which can support their own, and their teams, health and wellbeing.
This is an interactive webinar which will provide opportunities for participants to ask questions. This session is suitable for anyone working in museums, including freelancers and volunteers.
This event will be recorded and provided online at a later date.
Please note: this event is being run by South East Museum Development. Therefore places are only available to organisations in the South East region. By signing up to the training you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions, including completing the post session evaluation.
