Sharing AfternoonEvent Date:6 February 2020 1:15 pm — 6 February 2020 4:00pm
South East Museum Development Programme invites you to join us for a sharing afternoon on 6th February 2020. Showcasing the best projects and initiatives in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire area over the last few months, this is your one stop shop for great case studies and networking all in one afternoon. Featuring talks on preventative conservation, business development and Facebook marketing, this is one session not to be missed!
The museum itself is free and will be open to the public, so if you wish to arrive early and take a look around, you are most welcome to! There will also be cake and light refreshments, so please let the MDO know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Parking is available for free in Woodstock, both outside the museum (3 hours) if you can find a space and also at the longer stay Hensington Road Car Park (7 mins walk away – head for the main road, cross at the traffic lights and walk down the high street): https://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carpark/hensington_road/ox20/woodstock/?arriving=202001101100&leaving=202001101300
There is also a very good bus service available from Oxford Station and also Oxford Parkway (the big purple number 500 bus) which takes you right into town.
The museum has level access all the way to our training room, and also has stair lifts in the museum itself if you wish to look around and have additional access needs. There are also level access disabled toilets on site. If you have any specific additional needs you would like us to make arrangements for, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
