In this session we will explore the Arts Councils support for the Museums sector during the period of reset. In particular we will discuss the temporary changes to the relaunched Project Grants and look towards other avenues for funding including the recently announced Culture Recovery Fund. We will also hope to open up thinking around the Arts Council’s 10 year strategy ‘Let’s Create’ and highlight examples of how it can relate to museum work.

The session will be co-hosted with SEMD & Michael Cooke, who is the Arts Council ‘s Museum Relationship Manager for the South East area.

Helen Derbyshire, one of the South East MDO’s, will lead the meeting. There will be an informal presentation from Michael, followed by a facilitated discussion using questions or queries from the delegates. So grab a coffee and meet the Funder!
