Whilst lockdown is easing and the cultural sector is gradually re-opening, most museums know that the tricky times aren’t over. With unpredictable visitor numbers, income and the possibility of a ‘second wave’, it can be difficult to know the best way to manage and support employees during uncertain times.
South East Museum Development was pleased to offer this web training session for trustees, directors and museum leads at larger and staffed museums.
The workshop looked at how to create the right staffing structure for your museum over the coming months, including forecasting how staffing will be affected by changes to your operating model and guidance on difficult decisions such as applying for funding to cover staff salaries or managing redundancies.
