Chiddingstone Castle’s Photography and Interpretation Project Update

Posted on: 26 April 2019

Chiddingstone Castle have started the process of digitising their diverse collection as part of their Photography and Interpretation project. In the middle of February the Chiddingstone team were joined by Chris Beer who assisted them as part of a 2 day Object Photography and Digitisation course. The course is designed to take up to three people through the basics of digital photography and enable them to use the recently purchased equipment. They explored techniques for photographing a diverse array of artefacts through to meta labelling and editing and storing correctly the image files. Chiddingstone Castle were able to apply for this support through funding from the Level Up: Development Fund. For further information on access funding please see our grants page
