Collaborate SE: the South East regional Network of Museums working with young people.
Collaborate SE is a Network open to all museums in the south east. It provides a forum for those staff working with young people aged 14-25 to share ideas and offer support.
The Network Supported is being supported by Artswork SE Bridge to develop the partnership network that emerged from the regional SE Cultural Olympiad Stories of the World project.
The funding will enable the Network to developed beyond those partner museums by supporting:
• 4 network meetings, one in each of the 4 sub-regions in the SE – to share and disseminate museums work with young people
• the creation of 5 case studies demonstrating the range and scope of work of museums in the SE
• development of the presence of the Network on the SEMDP website
• a small challenge fund to support Network members to develop their work with young people through CPD opportunities.
The Network is lead by Royal Pavilion and Museum and supported by a steering group of previous partners, MDOs and Aspire. The aim of the funding is for the Network to become self-sustaining.
