Want to know more about your visitors and those potential visitors you would like to attract? South East Museum Development has teamed up with the Audience Agency to bring you this series of free online webinars all about audience development.
We will be running these afternoon sessions to introduce you to the various aspects of audience development, which can help you to better understand the nature of your visitors and help you to deliver the sorts of content that your visitors are looking for. We will also be arming you with the tools you need to understand collected data, and this will hopefully help you to plan for your own audience development.

The first session will look at the basics of audience development and introduce the delegates to the initial aspects of audience development that they may want to consider.
Introduction to Audience Development: Audience Segmentation 18th Nov (2pm-3.30pm) Find out more.
The second session will look at audience segmentation as a tool that museums need to understand their visitors and how to break these groups down into useable information that feeds into content development.
Introduction to Audience Development: Collecting Data 25th Nov (2pm-3.30pm)
The third session will look at the mechanics of collecting data and the methodologies that can be used to do this successfully.

The fourth session will go into more detail on how to understand the data that has been collected and how this can feed into longer term audience development priorities.
There are four sessions in this series, and you can attend them as a one off or for the whole course if you wish.
