Implementing best practice in Collections Care and Conservation is dependent on good conservation planning and policy writing.  This session will link Conservation risk management methods discussed in the previous session ‘Back to Basics: How to care for and conserve collections’ (29th June 2021)  to Benchmarking and Accreditation standards offering guidance on writing effective, useful Conservation Policies and Plans that facilitate best practice.
