Join us for a day of talks, networking and discussion at the Museum Forum at Winchester Cathedral, Wessex Learning Centre on the 23rd February 2023. We will look back on exciting case studies from museums near you, workshops exploring best practice with collections, find out about current funding opportunities, and the latest from your Museum Development team.

Our keynote speaker this year is Tamsin Russell, the Museums Association, Workforce Development Officer, who will be looking at recruitment and retention within the museum sector.

We are pleased to announce case studies exploring collections care, volunteering and display from Hampshire Cultural Trust, Isle of Wight Steam Railway and Whitchurch Silk Mill.

The breakout workshops include

• St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery, Lymington, community collecting
• Spencer and Fry, collections care and environmental sustainability

This event will also be hosting a funders section and the latest from the Arts Council.
