MEND Round 2 ‘Meet the Funder’ (Arts Council England)

Join us, John Simpson-Wedge and Victoria Allott from Arts Council England, for answers to your questions about applying to the second round of this capital funding stream. Please note when booking: the 10-11am session is a presentation and general Q&A. There will be bookable 30 minute slots for 1 to 1 conversations with John Simpson-Wedge (for South East area Museums) or Victoria Allott (for South West area Museums) running after the session on the 23rd from 11.15am – 5.15pm.

Speaker: John Simpson-Wedge, ACE Museums Relationship Manager for the MEND Fund in the South East.

Suitable for: trustees and managers/fundraisers of Accredited museums who would like to apply to the MEND fund. (You need to be fully or provisionally Accredited to apply for this fund).

The Museums Estate and Development Fund (MEND) is a DCMS capital funding programme which is being overseen by Arts Council England (ACE).

This second round of the competitive fund will support capital expenditure from £50,000 to £5 million for vital infrastructure and urgent maintenance backlog work. All non-National Accredited museums (including those with Provisional Accreditation) are able to apply.

This session will enable potential applicants to put their questions to ACE’s Museum Relationship Managers for the MEND fund in our areas. You will also be able to book a 30 minute conversation to discuss your own project with John if you are in the South East or Victoria if you are in the South West.
