Online Collective Workshop: Creating Lower Carbon Exhibitions

Thursday 20th April 10-11.30am via Zoom

As part of Roots & Branches, the Seeds for Action Programme has been developed to connect Carbon Literate Certified museum people across England to develop and build on their carbon reduction strategies and approaches to taking climate actions.

The Seeds for Action online workshop programme is your chance to share your own experiences and ask others about the nitty gritty of implementing climate actions around various areas of work. By pooling our collective expertise and resources, we can save ourselves time and money, and tackle the climate emergency more effectively. As David Attenborough said, ‘there is still time if we act now with determination and urgency’. There are currently three Online Collective Workshops scheduled from April to June that are open for bookings by people in the museum sector that have completed a Carbon Literacy course. This workshop focuses on actions to create lower carbon exhibitions. The session is for you if you are interested in sharing experiences around:

● Reducing, reusing and recycling exhibition related things

● Reducing the impact of exhibition transportation.

This event is for people who have completed the Carbon Literacy Training for Museums. The session video will not be recorded.
