What is narrative design? And how can museums and other heritage organisations use these techniques to explore new forms of digital storytelling?

This workshop will draw on Brighton & Hove Museums’ digital volunteering programme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. We’ve worked with a team of volunteers to develop content for two new low cost digital guides for our museums. We’ll explain the thinking behind our approach, and share some of the tools and techniques we’ve used.

By the end of the workshop you should have some tips and ideas for how you can use narrative design to improve the interpretation in your museum or heritage site. Whether you work with paid colleagues or fellow volunteers, we’ll give you some tools for bringing new voices to the stories you tell to your visitors.
