In the next of our series of Coffee Chats focused on Museum Leaders in the South East, we’ll be discussing the challenges of volunteer retention.

About the event

Whether you are the director of a large service or the leader of a small volunteer run museum, the challenges of leadership are unique and varied. We host regular online informal ‘coffee chat’ meetings between leaders in the south east to provide a platform to discuss shared challenges and explore solutions together.

In this session, will be hearing from both a volunteer manager and a volunteer from museums in the south east, discussing techniques to promote volunteer retention and the reasons why people stay and leave.

Who should attend?

These informal online sessions are aimed at leaders working within museums in the south east, of any governance type or size.

Access Information

Using a virtual platform (Zoom), the facilitators will introduce case study speakers and encourage attendee participation with an opportunity for questions and group discussion. Auto-transcription will be enabled as standard.
