The Museums Estate and Development Fund (MEND) is a DCMS capital funding programme which is being overseen by Arts Council England (ACE). This third round of the competitive fund will support capital expenditure from £50,000 to £5 million for vital infrastructure and urgent maintenance backlog work. All non-National Accredited museums (including those with Provisional Accreditation) are able to apply.
This session will enable potential applicants to listen to key tips and explanations, as well as time to put their questions to ACE’s Museum Relationship Managers for the MEND fund in our areas. You will also be able to book a 30 minute conversation to discuss your own project with John if you are in the South East or Victoria if you are in the South West.
The deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest for MEND is 21 April 2022.
(You need to be fully or provisionally Accredited to apply for this fund).
Please note when booking: the 10-11am session is a presentation and general Q&A. There will be bookable 30 minute slots for 1 to 1 conversations with John Simpson-Wedge (for South East area Museums) or Victoria Allott (for South West area Museums) running after the session on the 8th from 11.15am – 5.15pm.
More details will be sent out once you have registered for the event.
