Senior Marketing and Communications OfficerLocation:The Lightbox, Woking Salary:£22,000 - £24,000 pro rata, dependent on experience. Main duties:
To promote and raise awareness about The Lightbox through overseeing the delivery of the Marketing and PR strategies and campaigns. This role is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the Marketing department under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
The role is responsible for all Main Gallery and major PR activities including the development of key local and national press contacts. It oversees the creation, production and delivery of the What’s On programme and all marketing literature. The role also oversees the running of The Lightbox campaigns, working with and delegating to the Marketing and Communications Officer and Marketing and Sales Officer as appropriate. The role will require occasional deputising for the Operations Manager in a marketing capacity.
The Senior Officer is required to ensure that all external comms are to standard and embody The Lightbox Brand Guidelines. The role requires personally producing campaign reports, ensuring that the monthly department reports are delivered by the Officers on time, and that strategies are developed from the insights of these reports.
The role will also involve working with the Operations Manager on Audience Development strategies that will help grow and retain the visitor base of the organisation. Tools to facilitate this include the CRM Raiser’s Edge NXT, Culture Segments demographic profiling tool and digital analytics.
