Do you want to inspire kids and take learning out of the classroom?

As the Reaching Out! Project Coordinator you will work closely with our Museum partners across Hampshire and the Hampshire schools community to bring high quality learning opportunities to pupils based in areas of high deprivation. You can find out more about this exciting project here.

You’ll have a key role in liaising with our schools networks to promote the exciting range of engagement activities offered by our local museum partners.  You’ll provide key admin support for the project, supporting marketing activities, preparing project plans and organising and minuting project partner meetings. And by keeping a good eye on the resulting data and stats you will be able to analyse, evaluate and report on the impact that this project has had on school and pupil engagement and help to contribute to the future development of the Reaching Out Project

A bit about you

You’ll have a passion for education with a good understanding of the current curriculum for KS1 & KS2 along with an understanding of the learning principles employed in a heritage or cultural settings.  Your clear and friendly communication skills will ensure you maintain and develop great partnerships with our museum, education and project colleagues. Your previous experience in project coordination will help you to manage multiple project demands from internal and external stakeholders. And it goes without saying that you’ll be a whizz at IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

This post is offered on an annualised hours basis, working an average of 8 hours per week.
