Brooklands Museum is recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our extended leadership team and work with colleagues across the Museum to share the Brooklands story and reach more visitors and customers.
The pioneers of Brooklands’ past shaped the industries of motorsport, aviation, and engineering. Today, Brooklands Museum champions the relevance of the skills and technology developed here and continues to inspire current and future generations to shape the world through Brooklands history of innovation and endeavour.
We are an award-winning Museum with around 180,000 visitors a year and an even larger audience for the TV series about Brooklands, Secrets of the Transport Museum, which launched in 2021. We consistently score highly for the breadth and quality of our visitor experience. The Museum’s activities are supported by an active Members group, a busy catering and hospitality business and a range of other activities, all of which fall within the marketing remit of this role.
We’re looking for a marketeer with experience in planning and executing multiple campaigns, who is keen to make an impact as we plan our 2022 season and beyond. You’ll be a creative person, and be able to coordinate media, direct creative and content, and write compelling copy to attract visitors across all of our events, family activities, corporate hospitality and general Museum offers. Joining the Marketing Director and Digital Officer, you’ll be able to produce campaign briefs and manage budgets, that support the wider marketing and Museum strategies and develop and enhance the Brooklands Museum brand.
This is a flexible post with some home working, and we would consider part-time or job share.
We are working on a strategy to make Brooklands Museum more inclusive and representative of our community and we actively welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds. We were a finalist for Surrey Employer of the Year in 2021.
