Watts Gallery Trust is recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join their busy team.

This is an exciting time in the development of Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village, as they build on the success of a major National Heritage Lottery Fund redevelopment and move forward as a newly appointed Arts Council England NPO. The successful candidate will support the Head of Marketing and Communications, Marketing Strategist and Marketing Officer in their roles.

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day functioning of the Marketing Team: design (print and exhibition), campaigns, digital marketing, social media, on-site promotion, administration, research, proofreading and copywriting (blog). This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop new skills in an ambitious, forward-thinking arts and heritage organisation. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to assist with the production of the Watts Magazine, in-house publications and the to-be-launched Watts podcast.

Candidates will need to have a good working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop (also preferably Illustrator), be familiar with web administration platforms and have some experience of working in a marketing environment and/or the arts and culture sector.
