Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery is looking for a Collections, Archives and Local Studies Officer to join their collections team.
We are embarking on an exciting HLF and ACE funded redevelopment project which will take the museum service through a great period of transition. The Collections, Archives and Local Studies Officer will play an important part in the delivery of our new integrated service.
This is a new post and will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the role, developing the archives and local studies collections in preparation for the opening of the Amelia in 2021.
We are looking for someone who has experience in collections documentation and registration in a museum, archive, and/or local studies environment. You will have never met a spreadsheet you didn’t like. You enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to complex problems and will frequently look for opportunities for improvement. You love to learn and share your knowledge with others.
