Family Activity Specialist (freelance), The D-Day Story

Location:D-Day Story, Portsmouth Salary:fee: around £2000 Main duties:

We would like you to develop and deliver two events that are:
 Inspired by D-Day, the Second World War and/or Landing Craft Tank 7074
 Covid-19 safe, following restrictions at the time of the event
 Original and imaginative
 Enable families to have fun together
 Could potentially run again in future
You will use the museum’s subject matter as a starting point to create something exciting and different. The events can be unusual, fun, interactive, sombre, reflective or quirky – we want to hear your ideas. They will also be mindful of the sensitivities of our subject matter.
The museum is a ticketed venue. We are open to suggestions for events that have an element that takes place outside to encourage visitors to come inside the museum.
If Covid-19 restrictions prevent us opening the museum we would like the events to run online.
The audience is families. We are open to suggestions about the age of the children the event will be aimed at.
