Job Title: Duty Manager – Facilities
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Type of Contract: Permanent

We wish to appoint a Duty Manager – Facilities with specific responsibility for maintaining the facilities, buildings and grounds of Milestones Museum and Basing House. This role also provides an essential part of the duty management team ensuring that we maximise every visitor’s experience of our venues.

The diverse nature of these two sites ensures that no two days are the same. Whilst Milestones delivers an exciting indoor living history experience, the ruins, gardens and grounds of Basing House offers an ideal spot for a picnic, a wedding, open-air theatre or even a civil war re-enactment.

As the successful candidate you will have a proven track record of caretaking, facilities or general maintenance of a public venue or commercial site, along with a good understanding of the relevant Health and Safety rules and regulations required. Building upon your previous skills and experiences you will help to deliver an outstanding and safe customer experience for all our visitors.
