Eastleigh Museum is looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic and engaging historian/educator able to engage young people with the industrial heritage of Eastleigh as part of the Industrious Minds project.

Key Deliverables

Lead walking tours (3) with an industrial heritage focus around the local area

Develop and deliver object handling and local resources sessions (3) to increase research and analytical skills to identify stories that relate to the objects through the local history section.

Develop and produce new oral local histories (6) through transferrable skills such as interviewing techniques and oral history collections. A minimum of 3 oral local histories will be developed.
