Joint Funding Workshop – Arts Council and National Lottery Heritage Fund, Chatham Dockyard

Event Date:10 October 2019 10:15 am - 10 October 2019 2:30 pm

Chatham Dockyard

This workshop (repeated in 3 locations) is intended for staff, trustees and volunteers from all sizes of museum. If you are seeking external funding for projects, whether it be £3,000 or £300,000, ACE and the Heritage Fund may be able help. Come and find out what types of museum projects they are looking to fund in 2019 – and how to write a successful bid to them. The workshop will also help clarify which funder you should approach for which type of museum project.

Each funder will provide a group presentation, and then be available for 1-to-1 conversations with individual museums. This will provide you with the opportunity to informally discuss project ideas with the relevant funder. Please reserve an individual 1-to-1 session of 10 minutes when you complete the booking form (specific times will be confirmed on the day – but please be prepared to wait. There will be the opportunity to visit the host museum whilst waiting).
