Assessing Your Museum’s Digital CapacityEvent Date:2 December 2021 10:00 am — 16 December 2021 12:00pm
For museums to take full advantage of everything digital can offer, they must first understand how and where digital sits within their organisation.
We are looking to recruit 8 museums (2 delegates from each) to attend 3 training sessions led by Culture24 to help identify their museum’s digital capacity and development needs.
Participants will be guided through parts of the Digital Culture Compass, a powerful tool, commissioned by Arts Council England in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to help evaluate how digital relates to their own organisation.
At the end of the training, participants will leave with the confidence, tools and resources needed to complete the full toolkit within their own organisation, involving their staff, volunteers and trustees in the process.
We are looking to recruit 8 museums from south east of England (Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, East & West Sussex, Surrey, and Kent).
Two delegates from each museum can attend (one senior leader, one practitioner).
Participants will be expected to attend each of the 3 virtual training events.
