Who should attend this course?
This half-day course is designed for those working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in Kent (excluding Medway).
This course is for people in organisations which are overly reliant on statutory and/or grant making trust income (contracts and grants). The course provides an introduction to many different ways of raising money from individuals and businessess, including events and community fundraising, regular (monthly) giving, major donors, legacies...and much more! New fundraising ideas guarenteed.
Kathy Roddy is a qualified and experienced fundraising trainer who has spent more than 20 years in the voluntary sector, first as Executive Director of a national animal welfare organisation, then, since 2000, as a fundraising trainer and consultant. She is a member of, and holds, the Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising Management and has recently co-authored an MA module with the University of Kent Centre for Philanthropy on the ‘Art and Science of Fundraising’. Through both training and consultancy, Kathy has helped charities and voluntary groups raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes.
