Security Review 'sharing day'

Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations.  We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Please contact joanna.low@brighton-hove.gov.uk to register your interest.

Making and Maintaining International Contacts

Wednesday 1st March 2017

London

The next Working Internationally Regional Project workshop will take place in London on 1 March 2017 at a venue in central London.  The workshop will focus on making and maintaining international contacts, and the content will be drawn from the cohort of museums and galleries who received WIRP International Travel Grants in 2016.

The draft programme and booking via Eventbrite will be available in December.  Keep an eye on the ICOM UK wesbite for updates: http://uk.icom.museum/events/wirp-workshops-2015-17/

For those of you travelling to London for the workshop, you may wish to consider staying overnight to attend the 2017 Working Internationally Conference on 2 March 2017 at the Natural History Museum in London.
