Cultural Commissioning Learning Programme
The Cultural Commissioning Learning Programme is helping arts organisations, museums and library services to engage in public service commissioning, win contracts and deliver great outcomes.
Phase 1 - Helping arts and cultural managers understand and prepare to engage in commissioning - was delivered to a lively group of 20 in Newcastle in July.
Phase 2 - Demonstrating the impact of arts & cultural activities on public service outcomes - will be delivered in Newcastle in September. All who attend have access to the online learning community with links to information, resources and peer learning.
Dates are confirmed for Plymouth, Leicester and Ipswich, whilst Birmingham dates are being planned.
Early next year, the programme will be rolled out in Manchester, London, Kent and the south west.
High demand means a third phase is planned - this will support local arts and cultural consortia to work on shared priorities with their local commissioners. Get in touch for details.
