No Strings Attached - a grant scheme for young theatre-makers
No Strings Attached is a grant scheme delivered by Farnham Maltings to help young people make their first piece of theatre. Grants of between £500 and £1000 are available to young people from across the south east region. The grant is for anyone aged between 18 and 25 who hasn’t previously received a grant for the arts. This year, in partnership with Unlimited, a specific No Strings Attached grant is offered to ensure young disabled artists are supported.
Applicants can apply as an individual or as part of a group. Should you be successful you will also be paired with a professional mentor.
If your project is suitable you will be invited to present your idea to a panel of arts professionals and young people on 22 October 2014. Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis and the deadline for registering your application is 1 October 2014.
To register your interest, talk about access and to apply to attend the 2014 panel meeting, please email Julia Clague or call her on 01252 745471.
