Job Opportunity: Assistant Curator, Petersfield Museum, Hampshire

Salary: £18,500 - £20,000 (experience dependent) per annum for two year fixed term.

37.5 hours a week including at least one weekend day a month

The ambition of the Pathways to the Past Project is to create a step change in how audiences engage with the museum that is enduring in the long term. The HLF project aims to enable the museum to fulfil its vision.

This post will help to backfill the post of Curator during the delivery of the HLF project and add extra capacity during this pivotal developmental point in the museum’s history.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their museum career to gain valuable experience across a broad spectrum of museum activity and an insight into HLF project delivery.

Enthusiasm, flexibility and a "can do" attitude are prerequisites for this position. Application is by CV with covering letter which should be no more than two sides of A4.
