Job Title: Buildings and Sites Operations Manager -  Sussex Archaeological Society

Location: Bull House, Fishbourne Roman Palace and Michelham Priory

Salary: Dependent on experience - £ circa 32k

SAS are looking for a dynamic operations professional to help us with our buildings operations and services. The post is offered for 18 months, starting in June/July 2018.

The post is Full –Time (A flexible working pattern will be considered). The salary for the post is £32,000, plus 30 days AL (incl. BH) + Benefits.

The post reports directly to the Chief Executive of the Society and sits within the senior management team. The post holder will work alongside our Property Managers and operational staff.  This is a newly created role To help provide  day to day  management and project support  for the major physical operational processes undertaken across the Sussex Archaeological Society.

Among other duties, the post holder will be expected to develop and implement a set of comprehensive operational and maintenance plans for the Society’s historic properties and archaeological sites and to train and upskill existing operational and property staff.
