GDPR Seminar Sessions
With the first major review of Data Protection in the UK for 20 years, as of 25 May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) brings significant change and therefore risk for all charities that process the data of its members and supporters. The GDPR is set to empower the public to take back control of their data like never before, with wide ranging implications.
These will include financial penalties and new restrictions on how charities can communicate with their members and supporters and the level of consent required.
Following on from our successful Introductory and Practitioner GDPR seminars for charities, this final seminar before the GDPR becomes law, will update you on the agreed legislation from the Information Commissioner’s Office and the ‘to-do’ points that charities must have at the forefront of their minds.
Sessions will take place on the 4th and 10th April in London
