Sustainability Project Sharing Day

Kelmscott Manor invites museums from around the area to come and find out more about their Arts Council England Resilience funded sustainability project and the Manor's plans, and to hear about what they have learnt.

In a time of political and economic uncertainty and an ever increasing demand on resources, Kelmscott Manor is looking for innovative ways to increase its profile and become more sustainable so that the Manor and its heritage will continue to attract visitors and be maintained for future generations. The day will feature talks about the project and also a talk by a professional fundraiser with a specialism in museums.

Lunch will be provided and a tour of the beautiful property will also be offered. The manor, famed for their cream teas, has been described as an 'utterly beautiful slice of heaven', and this is a day not to be missed!

We manage and support 26 arts and museums attractions across Hampshire and deliver county-wide outreach programmes that bring great culture to local communities. We also deliver a diverse range of wider social impact initiatives targeted at those who are most vulnerable or disadvantaged and who would not usually have access to arts and culture.

We are looking to appoint an experienced professional to oversee the operational management of two of our venues in Basingstoke. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in maximising both the customer experience and the commercial results of the venues across a full remit of catering, retail and events.

If you have a positive, creative and proactive attitude, are able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role and would relish the opportunity to lead and manage the teams then we would like to hear from you.
