Consultancy Opportunity: Fundraising and Development Consultant, SPUD

Wednesday 14th March 2018

Sailor, courtier, Member of Parliament, philanthropist, Admiral Sir Harry Burrard Neale [1765 - 1840] was a significant personality in Lymington in the New Forest. Sir Harry died  7th February 1840 and on 25th February a public meeting resolved to open a subscription for a Monument. Over time the Monument has degraded. The successful bid to HLF will enable both the restoration of the Monument and a public engagement programme exploring the life and times of Sir Harry.

A key strand of the project is to create a Friends organisation that will both look after the monument and also to maintain the profile of Sir Harry in the community and the wider New Forest.

SPUD are seeking and experienced fundraising and development consultant to support the Lymington Society in the successful development of a Friends group.

For further details and the project brief email and for an informal discussion please call Janet Mein 01794 388996
