Job Opportunity: Learning Officer,Michelham Priory,
It is an exciting time to get involved in learning at the Priory as the National Curriculum provides fantastic opportunities for new and exciting education sessions to continue to build our education department in both numbers and reputation.
The Learning Officer will lead on developing and building the formal and informal learning opportunities across all sectors, ages and ability-levels. There is a strong focus on the development and delivery of programs for schools as well as running hands-on learning opportunities at family event days and for adult learners. This role, together with an excellent team of dedicated volunteers, will continue to grow the number of school site visits per year, providing outstanding and unique education sessions and workshops.
Candidates will need a relevant academic qualification and experience of our sector combined with excellent communication and learning delivery skills. They will also need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and an excellent team player.
This practical and hands-on role is for 1040 hours annually, which equates to 20hrs per week. Flexibility around working hours will be required, with the majority of hours being worked during term time. Some weekend work, supporting events will be required.
