Job Opportunity: Retail Sales & Admissions Manager, Brooklands Museum, c£24,000
Brooklands Museum is on the site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit and is where over 18,600 aircraft were built or assembled and first flown: the Birthplace of British motorsport and aviation and Home of Concorde. With around 185,000 visitors pa and about to open an £8M Heritage Lottery-funded project, we are at an exciting time in our 26 year history.
Responsible to the Commercial Director, the key purpose of this role is to maximise the revenues and profitability of the Shop, admissions, Concorde Experience and 4D Theatre, whilst delivering excellent customer service and visitor experience.
A track record in a visitor or customer-focussed operation is essential, together with experience of automated stock control systems. Experience of online sales is desirable. Regular weekend working will be required. The salary is c £24,000pa depending on experience, supplemented by a results-based incentive scheme. The post attracts 25 days holiday and a company pension.
