An experienced and skilled Exhibitions Programme Manager is required to develop and deliver the arts and heritage programme for the organisation with a focus on the new Gods House Tower (GHT) venue, along with linked spaces and projects.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation following the award of ACE NPO status and the imminent opening of GHT, a major new arts and heritage venue for Southampton.
The organisation will culturally reanimate GHT, a scheduled ancient monument, with the new Exhibitions Programme Manager role being a key appointment to our growing staff team. The role will lead on delivering an innovative programme inspired by the stories and history of GHT to create an ongoing series of interpretive exhibitions, events and activities.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high quality artistic programme featuring art and artifacts loaned from collections alongside commissioning contemporary works by new artists and devising heritage-learning activities.
