Job Opportunity: Cultural Engagement Officer, Egham Museum, Surrey
Egham Museum is looking to recruit a Cultural Engagement Officer to be responsible for our Arts Council England funded 'Suffrage in Egham' project. The Cultural Engagement Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering all ‘History through the Arts’ activities (which will need to be developed), manage interns and volunteers, research and curate the pop-up exhibition, head up the marketing, and support co-ordination of other Activity Plan tasks, working closely with the Museum Curator and other partners. He/she will also have delegated responsibility for elements of the budget.
This role is offered as a freelance contract, and the individual will need to be registered with HMRC and manage their own tax and NI contributions. The total amount available for the contract is £16,000, and will run from June 2017 – June 2018.
