Heritage MK Business Development Manager

Heritage MK is a consortium of five museums and heritage organisations that work in partnership to lead heritage activities in Milton Keynes to inspire both residents and visitors to engage with the story of Milton Keynes.
We are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to devise and implement Heritage MK’s business development strategy, aimed at making Heritage MK more resilient, both individually and collectively, and raising the city’s profile as a cultural and heritage destination.
We are looking for an individual with the ability to provide strategic leadership whilst remaining hands-on to develop and deliver the 2017/18 plan. You will understand partnership working and demonstrate strong communication skills and an enthusiastic approach. You will have experience of marketing and/or fundraising with understanding or experience of the voluntary, cultural and heritage sectors.
This role will be employed by Bletchley Park Trust Limited, but will be directed by the consortium and will work closely with all members and Milton Keynes Council Heritage Officer. This role will spend time with all the partners and the ability to travel is crucial. The post is funded by a grant from Arts Council England’s Museum Resilience Fund and as such is an initial 12-month contract.
