Security Review 'sharing day'
Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations. We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Fundraising Fundamentals (Session I)
Wednesday 26th April 2017
The Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will be holding two free training sessions on the Fundamentals of Fundraising. Both sessions will be led by external fundraising consultants from the Audience Agency who are experts in this field.
* The course will cover the principles of philanthropy including conducting a fundraising SWOT analysis, looking at sources of data, carrying out donor research, how to care for your donors and writing a fundraising strategy
* This will be a small group (8 – 10 max) with two trainers on hand so will be a great way to learn and have some additional support with your fundraising
* If travel is an issue then the project may be able to help with bursary funding to cover the costs
