Job Opportunity: Museum Development Officer for Kent & Medway, South East Museum Development
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2018
Working Pattern: Part Time - 15 huors a week
Minimum Annual Salary: £ 25,694
Maximum Annual Salary: £ 29,854

The Museum Development Officer for Kent & Medway will be required to:
- deliver the Arts Council England-funded South East Museum Development Programme (SEMDP) in the KEN sub-region in line with nationally set priorities and to agreed Arts Council England objectives and performance targets
- provide a specialist museum development advice and support service to all Accredited, Provisionally Accredited museums, and museums formally ‘Working towards Accreditation’, across the sub-region of Kent & Medway (KEN)
- work closely with Museum Development Officers across the wider South East region to develop a pool of resources and maintain a robust evidence base to evaluate current impacts and to inform future delivery
PLEASE NOTE: While this job is to be delivered across the Kent & Medway area, the role is hosted by Royal Pavilion & Museums (RPM) in Brighton. You will therefore, be a Brighton & Hove City Council employee. Occasional travel to the Brighton office will be required, but suitable IT equipment and other measures will be put in place to enable you to work remotely.
