Job Opportunity: Volunteer Co-ordinator, Amberley Museum
Volunteer Co-ordinator, (Sessional Worker) Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre, nr Arundel, Sussex.
Salary - £5,304 p.a. Fixed term 12 month contract.
12 hours per week, £8.50 per hour.
Working days are flexible and by negotiation. This is a sessional worker position, so the post holder will have self-employed status contracted by Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre and will be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance.
Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre has been awarded Big Lottery Awards for All funding for a Volunteer Co-ordinator, to carry out a year-long programme of volunteer recruitment and training activities to support the work of the Education Department at Amberley Museum.
The job is to support the team to actively recruit new volunteers and also provide training and support for the large team of volunteers currently at the museum. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working with volunteers and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
