Survey - Measuring the Intangible: Performance Management of Museum Employees

Aniita Roberts (MSc student at the University of Liverpool) is conducting a survey that is aimed at evaluating employee perceptions of the effectiveness of the Performance Management System in their organisation.  The purpose of the survey is to:

·         To identify the type and quality of performance management systems prevalent in Museums.

·         To analyse employee perceptions of the effectiveness of existing performance management methods and their perception of its ability to measure the tangible and intangible elements of their performance.

·         To explore employees understanding of performance management as a concept and how it can be applied to the work of museum professionals.  

This survey is conducted as part of a research project in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of the degree of M.Sc. Organisational & Business Psychology from the University of Liverpool.

There is no compensation for participating in this survey, nor is there any risk to you or your personal data. All responses will remain confidential and anonymous and will be solely used for the purpose of collecting data for this survey. Your participation is absolutely voluntary and you can stop taking the survey at any time, for any reason, by clicking the exit button. Your privacy will be maintained at all times and no personal data will be collected. Please note that no personal details will be required, or asked to be provided during this survey, and there is no way you can be identified.

If you are a full-time employee of a museum organisation, over the age of 18 and subject to the performance management system of the museum I am requesting for your participation by completing this survey.
