Security Review 'sharing day'

Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations.  We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Please contact to register your interest.

Job Opportunity: Visitor Services and Café Assistant

As a key member of the Visitor Services team you will welcome visitors to the museum, providing them with detailed information and consistently delivering the highest standards of friendly customer service.

You will also be responsible for the efficient and profitable running of the DMAC’s beautiful shop and café. A strong drive for achieving sales targets and the confidence to approach visitors and actively sell a wide range of products is essential.

You will particularly help us deliver a consistently well maintained, commercially successful and deliciously stocked café. And you will work with the team to help increase the number of visitors and group bookings to the museum.

Part time, working Fridays, Sundays and Bank Holidays (with occasional flexibility on days) plus some additional days and evenings.
