Security Review 'sharing day'

Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations.  We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Please contact joanna.low@brighton-hove.gov.uk to register your interest.

Leverhulme Trust Artist in Residence Grants

The Leverhulme Trust's Artist in Residence Grants offer up to £15,000 for UK universities and museums to foster a completely new creative collaboration with an artist working in a discipline outside the applicant institution’s usual curriculum.

These awards support the residency of an individual artist in a UK university or museum in order to foster a creative collaboration between the artist and the staff and/or students of that institution. The term ‘artist’ encompasses visual artists, creative writers, musicians, poets and other producers of original creative work.

Applications close 18 August 2016. An artist may not apply directly – all applications must be made by the host institution.
