Security Review 'sharing day'

Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations.  We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Learning Assistant [Part-time] 22.5 hrs per week

Royal Armouries – Fort Nelson

Salary: £8,563.93 per annum

Band 9

The Royal Armouries are looking for a talented and innovative Learning Assistant to deliver engaging and exciting formal and informal learning activities at Fort Nelson. The role requires you to explore and interpret our collection in engaging and informative ways and deliver to learners via talks, demonstrations and workshops for school and college groups. You will have experience in delivering formal learning activities in a heritage or cultural setting. You must have excellent spoken, written and visual presentation skills to engage different audiences.

This is a part-time permanent post working 22.5 hours per week [3 days out of 7], term time only. The days worked will usually be Monday to Wednesday.

Weekend and evening working may occasionally be required.
