Security Review 'sharing day'
Accredited museums must obtain expert and objective security advice for collections at least every five years and plan to implement any recommendations. We are interested to find out if there are museums in west Kent who are due a review of their security arrangements and would benefit from a 'sharing day' with a consultant security advisor to help meet the Accreditation requirement. Please contact email@example.com to register your interest.
Job Opportunity: Freelance Evaluator, Chartwell, National Trust
The National Trust wish to appoint an evaluator for the following project:
‘Churchill’s Chartwell: An inspirational legacy in the 21st century’ will reinvigorate the legacy of one of the nation’s greatest statesmen, safeguard the Chartwell collection and give it resonance in the 21st century. We want to deepen relations with existing and new audiences by transforming the site through the opening of new spaces, the development of interpretation and the expansion of our learning, outreach and volunteering programmes.
Our vision is to maintain the presentation of Chartwell as a much-loved family home for the next 50 years, whilst inspiring a new generation to engage with Churchill’s history, his love of Chartwell and how he continues to impact our lives today.
Proposals should be submitted by 5pm on 21 March 2016 to Beatrice Prosser-Snelling, Project Manager, Chartwell, Mapleton Road, Westerham, Kent, TN16 1PS, firstname.lastname@example.org.
