The 'Mentoring and Museums' Conference is back!
Whether you are mentoring museums for Accreditation, Catalyst: Inspiring a Culture of Philanthropy, the AMA, Heritage Lottery Fund or another scheme, the Museums and Mentoring Conference, on Thursday 25 February 2016 at Salisbury Arts Centre, is for you.
This conference, organised by the South West Museum Development Programme, the South East Museum Development Programme, and the HLF Catalyst Programme with support from Collections Trust has limited places and we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
Last year’s atendees comments include: “Really enjoyed the event and felt I learned useful methods/techniques that I can use to improve my mentoring” and “I feel more confident” as a result of attending the day so don’t miss out!
By attending this event you will refresh skills, learn new ones and hear about the latest developments in mentoring for the cultural sector. There will also be the opportunity to network, learn from peers’ experiences and exchange good practice.
The conference is open to current mentors who help museums in the South of England, or those about to start a mentoring role. Please note: The conference is not intended as a first introduction to mentoring. If you are brand new to mentoring and have not had any training at all yet, please contact the organiser of your mentoring scheme who can point you in the direction of appropriate introductory training.
The conference is free of charge. Some funding may be available to support travel - contact your MDO to enquire.
