Heritage Lottery Fund - An Update and Overview

Looking ahead

Sir Peter Luff, the new chair of the HLF, announced a number of new initiatives at the Museum Association Conference earlier this month indicating the objectives for this crucial source of funding for museums nationwide:

  • Introducing a new funding scheme to support endowments
  • Re-opening the Skills for the Future funding programme that seeks to diversify and support our workforce
  • Bringing together the first Youth Panel to advise the decision making within HLF
